Heather Ridout
Heather is Chair of AustralianSuper - the largest industry fund in Australia; a Reserve Bank Board member; a Director of Sims Metal Management - the world's largest publicly listed recycling company, a Director of ASX Ltd and a Director of Image Networks Holdings Pty Ltd;. Her other appointments include member of the Boards of: the Australian Chamber Orchestra; Asialink; Advance Australia Advisory Board and L.E.K. Consulting Advisory Board. Heather has a long history as a leading figure in the public policy debate in Australia; She is also co-Chair of the Australian-Canada Economic Leadership Dialogue and member of the B20 Leadership Taskforce which is the key business advisory body to the international economic forum and will includes business leaders from all G20 economies. Ms Ridout is also a longstanding member of the American-Australian Leadership Dialogue, a high level forum including very senior representatives from the US and Australia drawn from politics, public service, business and journalism. Heather has been an Ambassador to the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation since 2009.
