Ilona Meyer

Ilona Meyer is an experienced General Counsel and Non-Executive Director with over 25 years of executive experience in the private and public sectors. Her expertise spans health, defence and emerging technology industries, where she has made significant contributions in the promotion of corporate governance, managing global teams through digital transformation, executing complex commercial transactions and managing high profile litigation and regulatory disputes. Ilona currently serves as the global General Counsel and Company Secretary at Nuix Limited (ASX:NXL), is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Micro-X Limited (ASX:MX1), Chair of the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee at Inner West Council, Member of the Finance, Risk & Audit Committee at The Women’s Club, and a member of the Nominations Committee at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Her previous roles include significant executive positions at 3M, ResMed, Boehringer Ingelheim, Medtronic, NTT, and Computer Associates. Ilona’s extensive experience encompasses overseeing mergers and acquisitions, high-profile litigation and regulatory disputes. Recognised as one of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics™? in 2024, Ilona has a keen interest in Responsible AI. She is admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister to the NSW Supreme Court and High Court of Australia and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia.
