JACQUELINE EMERY Chief Executive Officer, Royal Far West (RFW) Jacqui Emery is an experienced leader in the media, education and not for profit sectors with a broad skillset covering strategy, governance, transformation, operations, relationships, marketing and communications. Jacqui has been the CEO of RFW since 2021, an organisation celebrating 100 years of caring for country children. Under her leadership, Royal Far West has grown to a team of more 150 paediatric allied health and medical staff, supporting country children with their developmental health needs, including speech and language delays, behavioural and learning difficulties and mental health needs across four States and over 360 rural and remote communities. Jacqui’s passion for early learning and education and the importance of early intervention is shown through her extensive advocacy work. She is an active member of Thriveby5 and in particular its Rural and Remote Committee. She is also a Board member of the National Rural Health Alliance (NHRA), a member of Women for Progress, and a CEO member of the National Alliance for Regionalisation, working toward greater access to vital services and supports in regional, rural and remote communities. Jacqui is regularly interviewed by media, particularly in rural areas as a expert on children’s development and rural health workforce issues and her lobbying alongside UNICEF Australia, has improved policy and funding outcomes for children impacted by climate related disasters. Prior to becoming CEO, Jacqui was the Director of Business, People and Culture at Royal Far West, and the executive lead on the development of the Community Recovery Program –operating in more than 60 schools, to help the mental health of children and families following a natural disaster. Jacqui has also held leadership roles in some of Australia’s most well-known organisations including The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the Australian Financial Review Group and Readers Digest.
