Jacqui Kernot

Jacqui is one of Australia’s most experienced cyber security and risk professionals with a career spanning nearly three decades across Defence, Space, Intelligence, Telecommunications, Financial Services and Government sectors in Australia and Europe.
Prior to joining Thales APAC in 2024, Jacqui held a range of senior leadership roles in Accenture, EY, Telstra, HP and IBM, serving customers across Federal and State Governments, and corporate and Financial Services sectors.
Jacqui chairs Females in IT and Telecommunications (FITT), the longest running and largest organisation for women in tech in Australia, is an advisory board member for UNICEF and Coco, is regularly invited to brief boards on cyber security and risk and is a regular contributor to training programs for non-executive directors in these areas.
Jacqui has been recognised for her industry contribution as an inaugural Fellow of the Australia Information Security industry, the peak body for cyber and risk professionals in Australia. She is a former military intelligence officer.
