Jane Danziger

Jane is the Chief Transformation Officer at Woolworths, where she is responsible for driving the Groups strategy with a customer first lens. Her teams include Group Customer, Group Strategy, Group Transformation, Group Sustainability as well as managing some of Woolworths growth businesses, including the VC investing arm W-23. Jane joined Woolworths in January 2023. Prior to Woolworths, Jane spent many years with the Boston Consulting Group, where she was a Partner & Managing Director for over 10 years. During this time she led the Australian Marketing & Sales Practise as well as Gamma, BCGs advanced analytics business, in Australia. Jane founded and was co-lead of the Women’s initiative in Australia & New Zealand, which was held up as the best in global BCG and she was instrumental in leading and driving significant change with over a quarter of local partners being female when she left. As part of Gamma, Jane led the global Women in Data efforts and sat on the global leadership team, where she was driving similar change. Jane has deep expertise in putting customers at the centre of change, both in incubating and scaling new businesses as well as in large cross functional teams. She is experienced in using data and analytics in delivering personalisation, digital business builds, loyalty, marketing, consumer insights and brand and product launches. Outside of her professional life Jane has a love for the outdoors and has been a Board member with the Foundation of National Parks and Wildlife for many years.
