Jane Murray

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Acenda (formerly MLC Life Insurance), Jane Murray is responsible for leadership of the Operations and Underwriting Business Unit, which consists of the underwriting, policy operations, complaints, incidents and customer contact areas. This area is focussed on delivering on Acenda’s commitment to the Total Customer Experience by supporting our team to deliver exceptional experiences across our customer, partner and employee journeys. During her five years with Acenda, Jane also held the role of Chief People Officer where she strengthened the company’s performance culture by developing and implementing strategies in all aspects of human resource management. Her responsibilities have also included leading teams across Sustainability, Corporate Affairs and Remediation Programs. With over 25 years' experience in Financial Services, Jane brings deep industry understanding to the remit of her role. This includes over 10 years executive experience across various ASX-listed and non-listed companies in the Health, Funds Management, Superannuation, and Insurance industries. Jane is a qualified Organisational and Executive coach with a passion for catalysing leadership potential, particularly during times of rapid change. She is highly skilled at facilitating large scale cultural transformation. Jane is also a qualified (GAICD) and experienced Executive Director. She is currently the Deputy Chair of Korowa Anglican Girls School and the Korowa Foundation.
