Jo Mikleus

Jo is growth focused and customer orientated, with over 30 years' experience in business, technology and financial services, including as CEO. Across a diverse career in public, private and PE-backed companies she has developed a track record of innovating and successfully leading people through structural, technology, social and regulatory change. She is a highly commercial board director, with her current Non-Executive Director roles being: - NED and Chair of the Technology & Transformation Committee at Bravas Group, the parent company of Hunter Premium Funding (acquired from Allianz) and Arteva Funding. Together, Bravas has a $4.6Bn book, snd is Australia & New Zealand’s largest insurance premium funder with 40% market share in Australia and 70% market share in New Zealand. - NED and Chair of the Audit Committee at Avenue Bank, a digital bank that provides better banking solutions for Australian businesses, starting with disrupting the bank guarantee market. - NED and Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Acumentis (ASX:ACU), an ASX-listed property advisory and business valuation firm with 300+ valuers in 45 locations across Australia. In addition to her board roles, and leveraging her CEO, COO/CRO and AI startup experience, she speaks and advises on the topics of: Business expansion (including international); AI adoption; Customer-centric strategy; and leadership. She is a mentor to CEOs via her Group Chair role at Mentor List, to sportswomen via her Mentor role at Minerva Network. Jo passionately advocates for customer-design-thinking, disruptive innovation, leadership, culture and inclusion. Jo has a Bachelor of Social Science (Economics) from UNSW and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
