Joanne Horne

I have over 15 years of executive leadership experience gained through a number of Executive level positions. I have demonstrated success in managing large People and Culture teams to ensure an organisation’s strategic success. I have built the knowledge, skills and experience required to assist companies to recognise the link between HR issues, business strategy and performance and have extensive experience in the development and implementation of HR and Organisational strategies and solutions. I have also been the CEO of a registered training organisation. My experience as an Executive Manager and consultant has provided me with a broad skill set and a clear understanding of organisational challenges, financial metrics and drivers. It has also given me solid commercial acumen and the ability to ensure HR strategy is not only linked to but assists in driving company performance. I have been required to maintain a strategic perspective of the entire business and to take account of a wide range of short and long-term issues, opportunities and contingencies to ensure ongoing business success. I have managed a variety of functions including HR, Talent Management, IR, Remuneration and Benefits, Safety, Training, Change and Communications at an executive level and I pride myself on being able to build strong working relationships with all levels of a business. I have attended board meetings and reported on key people issues which were affecting the organisation and I provided executive leadership not only in Human Resources but in the overall strategy and operational goals.
