JoAnne Stephenson

JoAnne Stephenson serves on the boards of Challenger Limited, Asaleo Care Limited, Myer Holdings Limited and Japara Healthcare Limited. She is also Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Department of Health and Human Services (Victoria), the Victorian Major Transport Infrastructure Board and the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. JoAnne was previously a senior client partner in the Advisory division at KPMG, both in Australia and the UK. Working across a range of industries for more than 25 years her key focus has been in finance, accounting, risk management and governance. JoAnne holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from The University of Queensland. She is also a member of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. JoAnne has been a significant supporter of women and female talent at Challenger and championed diversity targets across the business
