Jodi Cant

Jodi Cant was appointed Director General of the Department of Finance for the Western Australian Government in August 2018. Jodi has spent the previous 14 years working at Landgate, including as the Chief Executive Officer since 2017. Her work in creating and driving the innovation program at Landgate has received national and international recognition. In 2016 Landgate became the only state agency to ever be named in the Australian Financial Review's Top 40 Most Innovative Companies list. In 2017 Landgate was approached by Princeton University to write a case study as the world's best land registry. Jodi was then invited to present this study in Washington and Oxford. As well as her extensive government experience, she has worked in the private and not-for-profit sectors in the areas of strategic planning, marketing and communications. Jodi currently serves on the board of PSMA Australia Ltd as Deputy Chair, is a non-executive director of the Curtin Institute for Computation and is a Trustee of CEDA. She is the past Chair of Earthmine Australia and a former board member of PEXA.
