Jodi Fullarton-Healey
Jodi has more than 25 years’ experience as a senior executive gained from general counsel, general management, chief sustainability officer and partnership roles across Australia, UK, Europe, USA, Asia and the Pacific region. As General Counsel, Jodi has focused on the effective resolution of large legal matters and supporting the CEO, Board and Senior Executives through periods of major economic upheaval and regulatory change. In addition to her legal expertise, she has strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. She has cultivated and retained high-performing teams through major cultural and economic shifts. Mentoring and coaching are critical to her leadership style. She understands the complexities of providing premium legal and governance services and the importance of effectively mitigating the risks involved in financial services transactions and product offerings. As Chief Legal Officer, Regulatory & Commercial at NAB, Jodi is responsible for overseeing the delivery of legal services to the NAB Group across the areas of regulatory advisory; disputes, restructuring & insolvency; employment; financial crime; ESG; data & privacy; and FAR. Jodi also oversees Regulatory Affairs (incl managing NAB's relationships with key regulatory bodies) and the Office of the Customer Advocate. Before NAB, Jodi was GC and CGM, Corp Gov & Sustainability at Allianz Aust where she led the Legal team and teams responsible for Corporate Governance & Sustainability and 3rd Party Distribution Governance. Jodi was a member of Allianz's EXCO and trusted adviser to the CEO and Board. At Allianz, Jodi oversaw M&A transactions, managed big litigation matters, launched Allianz Australia's Sustainability Strategy and oversaw the transformation of Allianz Australia's Governance framework. Prior to Allianz, Jodi was GC, Institutional & International Banking (IIB) at ANZ Bank where she led a team of more than 110 lawyers supporting the Group Executive IIB and the IIB businesses across 32 countries. Prior to ANZ, Jodi was a Partner in the Financial Services team at the law firm Ashurst where she advised in the area of large and complex financing - including major infrastructure, PPP projects, M&A, corporate and property. From 1997-2000, Jodi set up Ashurst's Shanghai office. Jodi is a member of Chief Executive Women. Her past non-exec roles have included board member of Trinity College, Uni of Melbourne and of the Australia China Chamber of Commerce; Chair of Women in Banking & Finance (WIBF) (Vic); and member of the WIBF National EXCO.
