Jude Munro

Jude Munro
Jude Munro is the Board Chairperson, Queensland Urban Utilities. She is also a non Executive director Air Services Australia and Uniting Care Queensland. she has been appointed by the Queensland Government in June 2012 to the Queensland Public Service Renewal Board and by the NSW Government to the Independent Local Government Review Panel in May 2012. She was on the Queensland Infrastructure Charges Taskforce in 2011, and the COAG Taskforce on Cities from 2010 to 2011. Jude Munro set up her own consultancy business focused on leadership and solutions in the public sector in November 2010. Ms Munro retired as the Chief Executive Officer of the Brisbane City Council (BCC) in June 2010. A position she held since 2000.As Brisbane City Council CEO she oversaw the $2 billion plus CLEM7 tunnel Public Private Partnership, record bus patronage growth, performance reviews including centre-led strategic procurement initiative resulting in $89 million savings, asset management and project management reforms and organisational cultural change. Ms Munro has held CEO positions with the Cities of Moreland and St Kilda in Victoria and the City of Adelaide.
