Kate Vidgen

Non-Executive Director - Aurizon Holdings Ltd Kate Vidgen is a Senior Managing Director of Macquarie Group and Global Head of Principal Investments for Macquarie Capital's Resources Group and is Executive Chairman of Quadrant Energy Pty Ltd, the largest producer of domestic gas in the Western Australian market. Before joining Macquarie in June 1998, Kate was a solicitor with Mallesons Stephen Jaques specialising in the banking, finance and energy sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons), and a Bachelor of Arts (Law, International Relations, Japanese Language) from Bond University, Queensland. She is a graduate (with merit) of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Kate has broad experience across a range of sectors including infrastructure, utilities and telecommunications, with a key focus on the energy and resources sector. Kate has specific expertise in energy products and markets, regulated assets, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
