Kathleen Bozanic

My career has spanned more than 30 years and during this period I have been a Partner at a top 4 accounting practice (Deloitte), Chief Financial Officer and full time Non-Executive Director. I have recently returned to an executive role (CFO) at IGO limited a top 100 listed company. I have significant experience in compliance, governance, risk and financial management, having been a Partner of a leading professional services firm, executive in public and private companies and non-executive Director of listed, private, not-for-profit and government organisations. I have leadership experience in organisations that have required strategic transformation and restructure, which included managing interactions with numerous stakeholders. My commercial experience has been diverse and includes negotiations with customers and suppliers, and managing commercial and legal requirements for mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and corporate restructures. The most recent transactions include; leading the sale of BGC Contracting to NRW and as a NED, IGO’s recent transaction with Tianqi and sale of IGO’s interest in the Tropicana gold mine. In addition, as part of the DRA Global Board, we successfully transitioned the business from a South African private organisation to an Australian listed organisation in July 2021 I have developed, implemented and monitored strategy in varying capacities. As a NED I am heavily involved in reviewing, setting and leading strategic direction. Notably in 2021, IGO achieved its strategic objective set in 2017 of being a globally relevant producer of metals critical to clean energy. At BGC Contracting, having responsibility for strategy, I was integral in the development and delivery of its strategy. Having held both governance and executive roles in diverse industries, I have demonstrated a strong track record of building deep knowledge in different businesses and regulatory environments. My style of leadership is highly collaborative, open and honest.
