Kerri Burgess

Kerri Burgess
Kerri is a partner with Spencer Stuart and leads the Financial Services Practice in Asia Pacific. She is a member of the Board Services, Succession Planning and CEO practices. Kerri was also Chairman of the Principal and Partner Nominations Committee for Spencer Stuart in 2009-2010. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Kerri had a long career with Citigroup in Australia. From 1995 to 2001 she served as head of strategy and business development, financial institutions group head, and chief of staff for Citigroup's corporate bank. During this time she served as a company appointed trustee for Citigroup's Superannuation Fund in Australia. From 1992 to 1994, Kerri set up a structured products marketing group for Asia and Europe as part of Citibank's investment bank activities in London. From 1989 to 1992, she was a director of Citibank's Asia Pacific Banking Institute in Singapore, responsible for entry level training for Asia Pacific countries. Kerri's earlier career was as derivatives head in Citibank Melbourne, various Citibank treasury sales and trading roles in Sydney, and a solicitor for 18 months with Clayton Utz. She has a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney and is an associate of FINSIA.
