Kerrie Mather

Kerrie Mather
Kerrie Mather is a highly commercial, well respected leader with significant experience in investing in and running major infrastructure assets with complex operations and consumer facing businesses, in Australia and internationally. She is recognised for her strong vision, excellence in stakeholder engagement, and team development. She is an analytical thinker with a proven track record in business transformation, development of business and commercial opportunities, and building operational excellence. Prior to her appointment in 2018 as Chief Executive Offer at the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust, Kerrie was managing director and chief executive officer of Sydney Airport since 2011 and of the ASX Top 20 listed company since 2002. Sydney Airport is Australia's gateway airport and has an enterprise value of $25bn. Prior to joining Sydney Airport, she was CEO of the largest global airport owner and operator from 2002 until 2011, and prior to that she was an Executive Director of the Macquarie Group in investment banking, working with both Government and private sector clients. She has extensive experience in infrastructure and privatisations having worked in the sectors of regulated assets, transport, utilities, social infrastructure, and on many aviation industry transactions, including leading the acquisition of Sydney Airport in 2001. She is a member of the UNSW Australian School of Business Advisory Board, Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Fellow of FINSEA.
