Lalitha Biddulph

Lalitha is General Manager for Transformation and Portfolio Management for Group Technology, at Westpac. This involves managing the strategy, progression, and execution of the multiyear transformation program supporting Westpac’s vision to be one of the Australia’s number 1 bank, helping our customers, communities, and people to prosper and grow. Prior to this role Lalitha was J P Morgan’s APAC region's Head of Global Technology Infrastructure. Her responsibility covered all aspects of Infrastructure delivery for the APAC region. She was also a member of the Asia Pacific Technology Operating Committee. Additionally, Lalitha was the Senior Technology Officer for South Asia, with responsibility for all technology delivery. Lalitha is the Executive Sponsor for Transformational Leadership Program (TLP) and the Take IT Forward (TIF) for APAC both programs are aimed at developing future female technology leaders. Prior to this role, Lalitha was with Telstra where she was the CIO for Telstra Global Enterprise Services and Head of Telstra’s IT Infrastructure. Prior to joining Telstra Lalitha had roles with Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), American Express, IBM, Woolworths and ESSO. Lalitha is keenly interested in developing young people and female leaders in technology and mentor’s talent both inside and outside the firm. Lalitha is the sponsor for the Westpac STEM Program incentivizing school age children to develop an interest in STEM based careers. Lalitha lives in Sydney with her husband Ross and her two sons. In her spare time Lalitha enjoys downhill skiing, reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
