Linda Scott AICD
Councillor Linda Scott is an experienced board director and local government leader. She
currently serves as the Chair of CareSuper, an industry superannuation fund, as well as President of the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA), attending National Cabinet with the Prime Minister, Premiers and Chief Ministers where required, on behalf of Australian local governments.
Linda represents local government interests on a number of other Commonwealth and intergovernmental bodies, including the Council of Federal Federal Relations (CFFR) with the treasurers, Infrastructure and Transport Ministers’ meetings, the Joint Council on Closing the Gap, and the NSW Environmental Trust.
She serves as the Deputy President of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI), and as a Councillor on the City of Sydney Council, formerly serving as Deputy Lord Mayor.
She participates in the annual CEO Sleepout, and is passionate about taking action on climate change and the creation of more affordable housing.
