    Dr Lisa O'Brien is the Chief Executive Officer of The Smith Family, a national, independent not-for-profit organisation that supports the educational needs of disadvantaged Australian children. Lisa has over 25 years experience in leadership roles in the private and public sector health care, community services, bio-medical and information technology sectors. Prior to joining The Smith Family in 2011 Lisa was the Chief Executive Officer of the Skin and Cancer Foundation Australia, a not-for-profit provider of specialist dermatology and dermatopathology services. She is a medical practitioner with qualifications in business and medical administration. Lisa is a non executive director of BUPA Australia & New Zealand and the Community Council for Australia.
