Lisa Vasic
Leader with extensive transaction banking, strategy and deal execution experience. Highlights of my career include establishing new business segments, leading and driving both New Business and Distribution Teams whilst driving a high performing inclusive culture. I have managed the full aspects of business, including profit and loss, recruitment, business strategy, customer and business initiatives and major account customer relationships.
My focus is enhancing the Teams I work within to facilitate a culture of “collective learning”, excellence, customer centricity and boldness.
Strength in strategy and execution; based on foundations of people and customer focus. I have had diverse experience/achievements and success across multiple industries (FI to Corporate) and functions.
I am an active “learner” who is excited and engaged in the change occurring across the Finance Industry. Have benefited from attendance at INSEAD Leadership program, the ANZ MIT program on Digital Banking in 2017, Global Payments Advisory Council in 2018 and have been a multi-year participant in the ANZ Institutional G40 program.
Globally orientated with a strong affinity for technology, transformation and customers – resulting in a passion for all things Transaction Banking and the change sweeping the industry.
Personally am a Mum to three fabulous boys and married to Phil, my life partner. Born and raised in New Zealand (of Maori ancestry), whilst growing up in Western Sydney my early childhood was challenging but humbling in teaching me about disadvantage, diversity, humility, tolerance and empathy. These have framed my life decisions and continue to drive me today. Broader than my commercial objectives are supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds, awareness of domestic violence and the impacts to society with a desire to leverage my direct experience to create positive change.
