Louise Higgins

Louise joined ANZ in January 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer Technology and Enablement. In May 2021 Louise was appointed Chief Financial Officer for Australia. In September 2022, Louise was appointed Managing Director, Suncorp Integration. Partnering closely with the ANZ Retail & Commercial Businesses, this role will lead a team to develop & oversee the strategy, approach, and plan for the Suncorp integration. Louise has a diverse set of skills & experience having worked across multiple industries during her 20-year career. Louise commenced her executive career in London with law firm Freshfield’s Brushaus Deringer, before moving to the BBC to work across number of operational functions over a 7-year period. In 2007 Louise relocated back to Australia to work with Macquarie Bank, as an Associate Director, before taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer for Nova Entertainment in 2010. In this capacity Louise was responsible for the performance of both the Nova & Smooth Radio Networks. In January 2017 Louise was appointed to the role of Chief Financial & Strategy Officer for the Australian Broadcast Corporation (ABC) where she oversaw the design & implementation of a significant technology transformation of the broadcaster. Louise has diverse Non-Executive Career from Commercial Radio Australia, Visit Victoria, Qudos Bank, Canteen Australia and Enero Group Limited. Louise holds a Bachelor or Business from University of Technology Sydney; she is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK, as well as the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2016 Louise completed the Advanced Management Program with the Kellogg School of Management, at Northwestern University, Chicago, United States.
