Louise Stark

A leader in the creative industries with international experience focused on delivering industry-leading results. CEO for Hachette Australia & New Zealand, a subsidiary of Hachette Livre, one of the world’s biggest book publishing houses. She also serves, in a voluntary capacity, on the board the Australian Publishers’ Association (as the Convenor of the Trade Publishers’ Committee). Louise has nearly 30 years of business experience, with 20 years in executive roles including Sales Director, Sales & Marketing Director, Managing Director and CEO. She has worked for companies including Ryland Peters & Small, Faber & Faber and Hodder & Stoughton in London and Google Play, Bloomsbury and Hachette in Sydney. In her downtime she enjoys reading, swimming in the ocean, running, hiking and family.
