Louise Watson

I have worked in investment banking and asset management for over 30 years, starting my career at Murphy Holdings, and moving to Hambrecht & Quist (acquired by JPMorgan). In 2018, I joined Natixis Investment Managers as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales, with a mandate to grow and deepen its client base and the strategies offered to Australian investors, while developing strong and trusted relationships with more than 15 active affiliate managers that are part of the Natixis Group. I am now the Country Head and Managing Director, with a focus on driving our strategic growth in the region, offering Australian investors access to offshore alternative and ESG investment strategies through our global affiliate network. Ensuring that investors have access to the right tools and insights to navigate an evolving market is a key priority for me. I am a strong advocate for gender diversity in financial services. Supporting female investors throughout their investment journey and ensuring greater representation of women in leadership roles is something I am passionate about. I want to see more women in senior positions, shaping the future of our industry, as well as helping build a strong foundation for future generations. Additionally, I am a member of various financial service groups including the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia (ASFA), Financial Services Council and Women in Super.
