Mei Ramsay
Mei Ramsay was appointed Group Executive - Legal, Governance and Regulatory Affairs for Medibank Private, an ASX50 publicly listed company, in 2016, having previously held the position of Group General Counsel from 2011. She was appointed Company Secretary in 2014. She is responsible for providing legal and regulatory compliance advice to Medibank's Board, CEO and senior management. As Company Secretary, she is also responsible for continuous disclosure compliance and corporate governance. Mei was the lead lawyer responsible for Medibank's initial public offering on the Australian Securities Exchange. She has over 20 years of experience in the legal profession, working in both private practice and in-house. Prior to joining Medibank, Mei was the General Counsel and Company Secretary for the Asia Pacific Distribution Operations of Cummins Inc, and held senior legal positions at Coles Myer and Southcorp. Mei holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Law. Mei is a director on the Australian Board of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Immediate Past President of the Victorian Division.
