Nicole Green

Nicole Green was appointed as Group Executive, Australian Markets for Transurban in June 2024. She joined Transurban in January 2022 as Group General Counsel and was appointed Acting Group Executive, Victoria in October 2023. During her time at Transurban Nicole has played an integral role in some of Transurban’s biggest projects. She has also been involved in strategy development, people leadership, and stakeholder engagement and management. Prior to Transurban, Nicole spent 24 years at law firm MinterEllison, where she was a Partner for 15 years in the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction Division. During her time at MinterEllison she also held various management and leadership roles, including Sydney Office Managing Partner, National Government Leader and Infrastructure Industry Leader, as well as sitting on the Partnership Selection Committee and being the staff partner for her practice group. Nicole currently sits on the Roads Australia Board and a number of Transurban’s joint venture boards including Sydney Transport Partners (WestConnex), Transurban Queensland, North Western Roads Group (M7 and NorthConnex) and Airport Motorway (Eastern Distributor). She has previously also held other board positions for a government entity (ANZ Stadium), publicly listed company (Centuria Property Funds Limited) and an industry body (Infrastructure Partnerships Australia), as well as being a member of and Chairing the University of New South Wales Law and Justice Advisory Committee. She has also volunteered for community not-for-profits. Nicole is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Graduate.
