Nicole Stanmore

Nicole Stanmore
Nicole is passionate about helping people and has worked both in Australia and overseas for a number of not for profits. During the past four years Nicole has led the Habitat team in Australia, supporting international programs in Asia and the Pacific, and expanding the existing programs at home. Under her leadership Habitat has helped more than 40,000 people overseas access new or improved housing and 200 property owners affected by the 2019 bushfires in Australia. She has also overseen the launch of a social enterprise, Habitat Women and the initial construction of two domestic violence accommodation centres. Prior to joining Habitat Nicole held senior positions at the Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS) and at Good Return, an international development agency providing microfinance and financial literacy. Nicole is a lawyer by training, has an MBA from Cambridge University in the UK and is originally from Santiago, Chile.
