Nicolle Rantanen Reynolds

Nicolle is an experienced Director, Committee Chair, and Chief Executive with a unique understanding of public purpose and member-based organisations operating with significant Government and regulatory oversight. Nicolle brings deep strategy, legal, commercial and financial skills to the role of director and the exercise of sound governance. Known for integrity, interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complexity and simplify matters for clarity, Nicolle has a proven track record in building strong relationships and constructively governing senior executive teams. Nicolle is passionate about sport and sports governance with a particular love of golf and thoroughbred racing. Nicolle was elected to The Grange Golf Club Board in 2017, then elevated to Vice-President of the Club in 2019. In 2022 she was elected, by full member vote, as the first female, and youngest, President of the club. Nicolle was instrumental in pitching for The Grange Golf Club to host LIV Golf, an event contributing in excess of $70 million per year to the South Australian economy. Nicolle is also a member of the National Board of Golf Australia and Thoroughbred Racing Australia and also Chair of the Board of Thoroughbred Racing in the Northern Territory. From 2018-2024, Nicolle was the Chief Executive of the Public Trustee (Government Business Enterprise). This included the management of the $1.6 billion investment portfolio, 250 FTE and an annual budget of $35million. The role incorporated Leadership, Strategic Planning, Investment, Customer Service/ Service Delivery, Management of various Trusts, Cultural Change, Technology/ System transformation.
