Pauline Thomson
Pauline Thomson was the Chief Financial Officer of Unitywater, a water and sewerage service provider serving around 750,000 residents and visitors to the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Noosa regions in Southeast Queensland.
Pauline has more than 30 years of experience in senior executive roles in both the energy and water sectors and is responsible for a diverse portfolio including corporate strategy and planning, technology and digital solutions, pricing, corporate development, procurement, and financial management.
Pauline has helped shape Unitywater by leading the development of strategy and initiatives focused on delivering a sustainable combination of quality, reliability, affordability, and ease for customers.
Pauline has also led and supported major customer and digital transformation projects, championed new business partnerships, and ensured the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability.
As well as being a Certified Practicing Accountant, Pauline holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from the Queensland University of Technology, is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has participated in a number of executive leadership programs both in Australia and the US.
Pauline is a Director of Pipe Management Australia and Vinnies Housing Queensland.
