Rachel Cobb

Rachel Cobb is an experienced board director, advisor and investor with an executive career in financial services, management consultancy and aviation. She is currently a non-executive director for CommSec, Australia's largest trading platform and digital currency exchange; Independent Reserve PTY Ltd as well as NFP the BullyZero Foundation. Rachel is an experienced executive director serving on multiple boards, currently including UK property investment company and previously several GE Capital and Latitude Financial Services consumer finance and insurance boards. She was the Private Sector representative on Federal Treasury's Inclusive Working Committee. I am an investor, advisor and mentor at Scale Investors with interests in portfolio of early-stage businesses in sectors such as cybersecurity, payments and biotech AI. I am also a partner mentor for BCG's CXO Program.

As a business leader, I gained deep experience in strategy, marketing, commercial development and M&A in A&NZ and Asian markets. I have guided businesses through transformation during challenging economic and regulatory cycles including overseeing major investment programs. In my executive career I held positions with global organisations including General Electric, NBC and Cathay Pacific Airways. I have deep expertise in consumer finance and as Managing Director GE Consumer Finance A&NZ, led the digital transformation of GE Capital consumer finance and insurance, whilst building new distribution partnerships and analytics informed direct to consumer offer. I led the business through the marketing and sale to new ownership and separation from GE. Since 2019 my focus was the acquisition, integration and relaunch of an NZ customer payments platform into the Australian market, prior to leaving Latitude Financial Services in late 2020.
