Rebecca Lim
Rebecca is an experienced General Counsel and executive, having recently been appointed as General Counsel for Transurban. Rebecca has previously been Westpac’s Group General Counsel, a role she held for 10 years. In her 20 years at Westpac, Rebecca also held a variety of other senior leadership roles including Chief of Staff to the CEO, General Manager Human Resources for St.George Bank and General Manager St.George Private Clients. Rebecca has also recently spent time in the higher education sector and as a consultant at Gilbert+Tobin. Rebecca began her career at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) before joining the US firm Skadden Arps where she worked in both New York and London. Rebecca then moved into an in-house role in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in London before returning to Australia. Rebecca is a member of Chief Executive Women and a Minerva mentor. Rebecca has a keen interest in supporting and developing in-house legal teams and has been the Deputy Chair of the ASX100, representing the General Counsel of the ASX100 in Australia.
