Ruveni is a leading employment lawyer specialising in all areas of workplace relations, including industrial relations, anti-discrimination and work health and safety laws. Ruveni is recognised as a leading or recommended lawyer in employment law in Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific, Asia Pacific Legal 500, Doyles Guide and Best Lawyers. Ruveni established Johnson Winter & Slattery’s employment group in 2007 and, as the co-head of the group, has been instrumental in growing its capabilities to be one of Australia’s eminent employment practices. The practice is now recognised as the firm to go to for the most significant mandates and as a ‘game changer’ in employment litigation.

Ruveni is recognised as a strategic litigator and trusted adviser to leading corporates and institutions, (including top 100 ASX listed and multi-national clients) such as AMP Limited, Seven Group Holdings, Yahoo, Merivale Group, Ralph Lauren, Swissport Australia Pty Ltd, and McGrath Limited.

Ruveni has acted in some of the most significant and high profile employment cases and achieved successful outcomes for her clients, including in Larissa Baker Cook v AMP, Guthrie v ABC, Seven Network v Amber Harrison, Seven Network v Warburton, acting for the Daily Mail in News Ltd v Luke McIllveen and acting for Yahoo! in Fairfax v Ed Harrison. Ruveni also acted in Australia’s largest sexual harassment case to date, Fraser-Kirk v David Jones.
