Sally Connell

Sally Connell is the Chief People & Sustainability Officer for the Foxtel Group, passionate about growing great leaders and great places to work, so that great people can perform at their best, love what they do and grow their careers. Sally joined the Foxtel Group as Chief People Officer in 2017 following the announcement that Foxtel would join forces with Fox Sports to create a world-class entertainment business. Prior to that, Sally was the Director of Human Resources at Fox Sports, a role she held since 2014. Sally’s career in human resources spans more than 20 years, and she has worked across various industries, markets, and organisations, including AGL, Telstra, Price Waterhouse Coopers and King & Wood Mallesons. Sally has led large-scale transformations in field service, engineering and technology, contact centres, retail, offshoring, professional services, and media production. Sally is an advocate for diversity and inclusivity in workplaces, leadership and decision-making. She is also a passionate believer that better business and community outcomes come through leading sustainably, prioritising self-care and wellness, and proactively thinking about how organisations get work done and maintain high performance over the long term whilst also positively impacting our communities.
