Sandra Brewer

Sandra Brewer is the Western Australian Executive Director of the Property Council of Australia. Prior to commencing this position, Sandra was a communications and marketing executive. Her experience spans blue chip corporates, WA private businesses, retirement living, residential development and construction. Her early career was in marketing role for fast moving consumer goods companies, including a National dairy business and multinational food private food company, Mars. In nine years at Mars, Sandra led new product development, marketing and advertising campaigns for leading brands including M&M’s. Her ultimate role at the company was as Global Strategic Planner for Snickers. Mid-career, Sandra founded brand consultancy Perceptive Marketing and consulted to 30+ clients including McDonald’s, Dale Alcock Homes, RAC and UWA. At this time, she also gained first-hand experience in the building and construction industry, being an active manager of her family’s business in residential construction. Sandra believes that leaders should be driven to create change beyond the four walls of an organisation, which is why she has volunteered for many years in political and industry bodies. Her active community engagement led to Sandra’s appointment as the Western Australian Executive Director of the Property Council. Sandra is committed to being a strong and effective advocate for the Members of the Property Council and the many people who work in the property industry. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
