Sarah Tobin

Sarah is the General Manager Human Resources, Consumer & Customer & Corporate Services leading the people strategy for two of the largest Divisions in the Westpac Group comprising of ~16,500 employees National wide. Prior to this she was the Group General Manager Human Resources for Technology & Operations and Enterprise functions.
Sarah returned to Westpac 5 years ago after five years away, during that time she worked at CBA as a General Manager Human Resources in Wealth Management, leading the Life Insurance Review and divestment of the businesses, and then British Telecom in the UK as the HR Director in the Technology division.
Prior to that Sarah enjoyed over 20 years at Westpac holding senior roles within Consumer and Business Banking, Risk, Marketing, Product and Contact Centres, as well as various specialist areas of HR including Policy Development, Diversity, Performance and Learning.
Sarah holds a degree in Employment Relations at UTS. Sarah thrives on defining and delivering HR strategy that truly enables the business to achieve its goals; her objective is to prepare businesses for future changes within the industry, manage risks and help businesses outperform.
