Shenaz Waples

Shenaz has over 25 years of experience in Banking & Financial Services in a variety of leadership roles, both leading large business teams and for the past 15 years leading HR teams.
Shenaz is Group Executive, People and Culture at CFS. She oversees all aspects of human resource management. This includes accountability for culture, leadership capability, learning & development, talent acquisition, business partnering, performance management & reward, and internal communications.
Prior to CFS, Shenaz was Chief People Officer at MLC Australia and held a number of senior roles at the Westpac Group. Her former role as Group General Manager, Enterprise HR Strategy & Services, had responsibility for driving the HR Strategy across the Westpac Group, including the Group's strategy on the Future of Work.
Shenaz has also held a variety of roles at ING Australia, leading Customer Service, HR and other specialist functions.
Shenaz’s formal qualifications include an eMBA (UNSW) with Distinction, completing the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) course, Global General Manager Program at Insead (Fontainebleau) and the Strategic IQ: Creating Smarter Corporations program at Harvard.
