    Shez Ford

    Shez Ford

    Shez Ford is the Executive General Manager, Advice & Insurance at CBA as well as the Managing Director of Commonwealth Insurance Ltd and Commonwealth Financial Planning Ltd. Shez is focussed on improving the financial wellbeing of Australians through the delivery of innovative and high quality insurance, advice and superannuation solutions. In this role she is accountable for distribution strategy, product design, risk and portfolio management of wealth solutions that are provided to CBA’s customers either directly or through strategic partnerships. 

     

    Shez has 30 years’ experience in financial services leading large teams in distribution, product & portfolio management, operations, program management, risk & compliance and taxation. Prior to joining CBA, Shez held various roles at ANZ and ING Australia. Shez began her career with PWC and predecessor firm Coopers & Lybrand working both in London and Sydney.

     

    Shez holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics from Brunel University, London and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Shez holds a Diploma of Company Directors with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has also completed leadership and strategy programs at Duke University and a Digital Transformation Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

     

    Shez is married with 2 boys and lives in Sydney.
