Susan Heath

Susan Heath is an experienced C class technology executive with a passion for digital transformation and the value engaged and innovative digital leadership can deliver to organisations across the private, public and not for profit sectors.
Susan joined UnitingCare Queensland as Group Executive, Digital and Technology in October 2020 where she has accountability reporting to the CEO and a member of the executive team for the delivery of all technology and digital services across the state to 16,500 staff ensuring that technology supports the delivery of health, community, family and disabilities services to thousands of customers every day. Susan holds a Masters of Information Technology, Graduate Diploma of Library and Information Science qualifications from Queensland University of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Literature and History from the University of Queensland.
Susan has more than 25 years’ experience in executive leadership roles in digital and technology and has successfully delivered large whole of organisation digital transformations in many sectors including community and utilities.
Most recently, Susan served as Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) at Urban Utilities and led the organisations digital transformation culminating in Urban Utility's award as Digital Utility of the Year in 2020.
Susan's expertise in Digital Transformation has also been acknowledged with her finalist nomination as Digital Transformation Leader of 2024 by Women in Digital and her finalist nomination for best IT Project 2025 as part of the annual Australia wide ITNews technology excellence awards.
