Theresa Effeney

Theresa is a seasoned Executive and Board Member with over 25 years of experience as a trusted advisor and leader in global corporations. She excels in leading teams through transformation and delivering business-centric people and culture strategies. Theresa has strong capabilities in ethics and governance, inclusion, diversity and equity and talent management across the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, she serves as the Asia Pacific Human Resources Director at Corteva Agriscience, where she spearheads HR's execution of the company's regional strategic business plan. Her focus includes nurturing talent, accelerating the future talent pipeline, designing employee wellbeing initiatives and enabling data-driven decision-making. Prior to her current position, Theresa held various HR leadership roles at DuPont, Computer Associates Technologies and Westfield Australia. In addition to her corporate roles, Theresa is an active board member at Flourish Australia, where she contributes her extensive leadership expertise to support the organization's mission. Her educational background includes a degree in Arts, specialising in Human Resources & Social Policy from the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
