Tricia Hobson

Tricia is an internationally renowned lawyer and leader recognised as a ‘generational leader without peer’. She has deep expertise and experience in strategic leadership, problem solving, complex stakeholder management and navigating outcomes to wickedly complex challenges. An experienced board member, Tricia is recognised for many achievements including:  Global Chairman (first female) of a global elite law firm – this involved the leadership and governance of 1,400 partners including navigating the integration of five disparate regional companies from a ‘verein’ into a single partnership  global ESG leadership of a thriving international practice  elite ‘Hall of Fame’ ranking for insurance and class actions  30 years of London market global insurance knowledge and connections, and  leading many of Australia’s highest-profile game changing class actions including the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Tricia is passionate about the importance of good culture and true diversity equity and inclusion both as the right thing and for the sustainable health of a business. She has held numerous socially influential positions including Global Board Leader for Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Chair of Reconciliation Action Plan Committee, Executive Sponsor of the LGBTIQ group. Inspired by her public-school teacher parents, Tricia has a deep curiosity to question and learn and help people to grow and develop themselves. She currently mentors and coaches senior female partners and executives. Tricia is an avid and intrepid traveller, reader, sports enthusiast and photographer. Most importantly, she is mother to twin 20-year-olds sons Nicholas and James.
