Victoria Hickey

I truly believe in equality and the importance of cognitive diversity within an organisation and the benefits that it brings. I believe in empowering my teams, investing in their development, and offering flexibility are key to the success of my business. My purpose is to offer generosity of spirit to my people, my customers, and the community. I am the CFO, Business Banking at CBA and have been in this role for 5-years. Prior to this, I was the CFO of AMP Bank for 3-years, and before that, I worked at KPMG for 21 years in various roles, both in Australia and the UK. I have extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, and what I enjoy most is helping others grow. Recently, I started developing and delivering leadership training for all of CBA Financial Services. I identified that we were not adequately supporting our team members make the leap from individual contributor to leader of others. My workshop helps newly promoted leaders understand the mindset shift required and think about how they want to show up. One of my significant achievements includes leading the transition of BankWest customers to CBA, a complex task that involved a team of over 200 people. Additionally, I have implemented pay equity across all promotions in Financial Services and have been actively involved in mentoring and developing other women in the industry. I am also a mother of two teenage boys, and we enjoy spending time together playing sports or going to the beach.
