Virginia Briggs

Virginia is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of MinterEllison, Australia’s largest law firm. She is responsible for the firm's strategy, which focuses on being purpose-led, delivering value to clients, an inclusive culture, and supporting the community. Virginia is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and sits on MinterEllison's D&I steering committee. She is the executive sponsor of the firm's LGBTQ+ network known as PRIME, is a very active ally, and has had the joy and privilege of marching in Sydney's Mardi Gras, which the firm has provided pro bono support to for more than 25 years.

Outside of MinterEllison, Virginia contributes to commerce and the community through a range of other leadership and advocacy positions, including being a part of Chief Executive Women, the Corporate Mental Health Alliance and is a Champion of Change.

In addition Virginia, has property industry leadership roles as a Board member of the Property Council of Australia and the Property Industry Foundation.
