CEW Scholarships Program

The CEW Scholarships program is one of the most direct ways CEW supports women leaders to break through and become the leaders they want to be.

Each CEW scholarship represents a lifechanging opportunity. They provide women leaders with the chance to study, learn, and accelerate their careers at some of the world’s most influential institutions: Harvard, Oxford, Yale, Stanford and INSEAD.

Since the program’s founding in 1992, our scholarships have enhanced the careers of more than 260 exceptional women leaders across numerous industries, including the arts, science, technology, engineering and maths, the public service, and health.

We know our scholarships have a life changing impact on the women they support. Almost three quarters of those who receive a scholarship  progress their career and attribute that success to the opportunities unlocked by the scholarships program.

Know that when you receive a scholarship, CEW is invested in your career and your success in the long-term. You’ll join the CEW Connect Community, a network of peers and mentors, which will be a source of support and knowledge over the duration of your career.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

Scholarships are available to women working in specific sectors and specialties. Our scholarship program runs throughout the year. It is important to review each scholarship’s eligibility criteria to make an informed decision regarding which scholarship(s) are the most suitable.

Applicants are invited to find a course that they can commit to completing within 18 months of being awarded the scholarship and can meet enrolment requirements of their nominated course.  They must be able to articulate why they have chosen their course and how it will benefit them in their current and future role as a woman leader.

CEW also offers several scholarships to specific courses up to certain specified values which can be found within the scholarship criteria.

Please note that as CEW Members are more senior than scholarship recipients, they are not eligible to apply for CEW scholarships. Members are encouraged to participate by becoming a scholarship application reviewer or supporting the CEW Leaders Program.
