This scholarship seeks to build on CEW’s legacy of women leaders empowering all women, accelerating the career trajectory of women into executive leadership through life-changing programs, world-class education, and global networks.

The Deloitte Asia Pacific CEO Readiness Scholarship is open to women in executive leadership roles, who report to the CEO of an ASX 100 or equivalent organisation, and who have been identified as a potential CEO successor for their current or a future organisation. Applicants are required to be nominated by a CEW Member.

Deloitte Asia Pacific and CEW are offering two women leaders, the opportunity to attend the Deloitte Asia Pacific CEO Readiness Program designed to accelerate the readiness of future global-level CEOs and help them secure the CEO role within the next 2-5 years.

During this intensive, in-person, four-day journey - being held in Sydney, 12-15 October 2026 - participants will collaborate with a cohort of peers, and receive coaching from prominent CEOs, Chairs, board members, subject matter experts, and renowned academics, gaining diverse perspectives that are crucial for forging their unique pathways to the CEO role. Delivered by CEOs, for future CEOs, the program provides participants with unique insights into the capabilities, mindset and support systems required to succeed as a CEO, today and in the future.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

To be eligible to apply, you must meet the minimum selection criteria:
Be an executive reporting to the CEO of an ASX 100 or equivalent organisation
Have been identified by the CEO, Chair or CHRO of their current employer as a potential CEO candidate for their current or a future organisation in the next 2 – 5 years
Have liaised with the CEO, Chair and/or CHRO of your current organisation as part of your scholarship application and have their support to attend the program including commitment to cover associated travel and accommodation costs
Have been nominated by a CEW Member
Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
CEW Members are eligible to apply for this scholarship if they meet all the eligibility criteria. However, CEW employees (including contractors) and CEW Scholars are not eligible to apply.

INCLUSIONS AND OBLIGATIONS

The Scholarship covers the tuition, enrolment and registration fees for the Course
The Scholar is financially responsible for their travel, accommodation, insurance, and any other incidental costs associated with attending the Course. It is expected they would secure the agreement of their employer to cover these costs
Each successful candidate must commit to attending the whole course and completing complete the program by 16 October 2026
Each successful candidate is required to write a report about their scholarship experience and may be asked to speak at Deloitte and/or CEW events
The successful candidates will be publicly acknowledged as CEW Scholars, which may include their name and photo being shared on CEW's website and/or social media channels
On completion of the course, the recipients will become members of the CEW alumni community, CEW Connect Women
