    Our next intake of new members will take place in August 2026.

    CEW members are Australia’s most influential and distinguished women.

    Member nominations are open annually. 

    Individuals require nomination by two current members of CEW who have held membership longer than 12 months.

    A nominee may be an Australian citizen or permanent resident living offshore, or a foreign national residing and working in Australia in a role that meets the criteria.

    What are the membership criteria for joining the CEW?

    The CEW member cohort includes Australia’s most influential women leaders. Membership is offered to women who meet stringent criteria.

    Individuals require nomination by two current members of CEW who have held membership for longer than 12 months.

    A nominee may be an Australian citizen or permanent resident living offshore, or a foreign national residing and working in Australia in a role that meets the criteria.

    Who can become a member of the CEW network?

    CEW welcomes the most influential women in Australia as members, including executives and non-executives from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors who meet the membership criteria.

    What happens if a member no longer meets the role requirements?

    Members retain their membership even if they no longer meet the role requirements, as long as they  pay annual dues and comply with the CEW Constitution.

    How can I nominate someone to join CEW?

    Current CEW members can nominate new members annually. If you know a qualified woman leader and want to nominate or find out more information on how to nominate, please log in to the CEW Member Hub and visit the 'Nominate A Member' page.

    Who makes the final selection for new members?

    The Member Nomination Committee, composed of existing CEW members, facilitates membership nominations and selections.
