Congratulating all 2023 CEW Scholars

The CEW Scholarships Program lies at the heart of women leaders enabling women leaders and 2023 has seen us reach new heights awarding scholarships to 34 outstanding women leaders across 19 different scholarships.

We have been very excited to offer four new scholarships in partnership with Chemistry Australia, Actuaries Institute, Property Council of Australia, Melbourne Business School and Helen Macpherson Smith Trust.

We have also continued to work with valued partners, Aurora Indigenous Education Foundation, ANZ, Australian Retailers Association, Governance Institute of Australia and our members, Jane Hansen AO, the Kerridge family in memory of Maureen Kerridge AM and Bonnie Boezeman AO who generously sponsor a number of scholarships.

None of this would have happened without the 83 members who generously gave their time to review applications and interview finalists – thank you so much to each and every one of you.

A big thank you to Committee members who chaired review panels as well as working on the Committee:

Karen Bozic, Kate Aitken, Sue Davies, Lee Hatton, Helen Rowell, Janet Matton, Kate Munnings, Sue Wilson, Kristen Walsh and Belinda Watton

Next year’s program will be just as exciting as we continue to support emerging women leaders from diverse backgrounds across Australia.  Please keep an eye out and sponsor or encourage a woman in your network to apply.

In the meantime, all the best for the festive season and we hope you enjoy reading about this year’s winners below.
