CEW to invest $500K in women leaders
Sydney, 1 December 2015: Chief Executive Women (CEW) today announced its program to invest $500K over the next 18 months on scholarships to enable talented Australian women to take their careers to the next level.
The program, known as CEW Scholars, will allow 16 talented women to attend internationally acclaimed business schools such as Harvard Business School, The Wharton School, INSEAD, and [email protected]
“Achieving 50/50 representation in senior roles requires system change. Women need to have equal opportunity to attend career transforming courses. Until equality of opportunity is a reality, CEW will continue to provide scholarships enabling more women to join the C-suite,” said Diane Smith-Gander, President of Chief Executive Women
CEW awards nine more scholarships to support women leaders
Sydney, 30 November 2015: Chief Executive Women (CEW) today announced the winners of nine scholarships for emerging and established women leaders to attend prestigious executive education courses in Singapore and the USA.
The awards are the second part of CEW’s 2015 program of 17 scholarships worth a total of $350,000.

Sydney, 8 October 2015: Chief Executive Women and the Minister for Women are joint host of a Roundtable discussion today with leaders from business and the public sector about increasing the number of women in leadership. The Federal Government also announces that it will commit $100,000 to help fund CEW scholarships and fellowships to support women’s participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) industries.
