It is with great sadness that we say good bye today to a treasured CEW member, friend and sponsor, Audrey Page. We have lost one of our great women and leaders in the Australian business community.
Audrey will be remembered and honoured as a pioneer of career transition services in Australia, having been actively involved in the development of the industry over the past 30 years. Audrey had worked in the business community since the late 1970s. She joined KPMG in 1984 to develop one of the first career transition services in Australia and in 1989 established a national service for Price Waterhouse which swiftly gained a reputation for quality and commitment. Audrey Page & Associates was formed 1998, operating nationally and internationally and it was a founding partner of Ãrbora Global Career Partners, one of the world’s largest career transition groups. In 2008, she handed over the ownership and leadership of the business to her sons David and Graeme, and focussed her energies on the one to one coaching work that she most loved. She was renowned as a peerless career coach and guide, and many of Australia’s most respected business leaders have sought her counsel.
Audrey’s passion was always to provide people and the organisations they worked in with much needed support during periods of change. She cared deeply about helping people carve out meaningful, courageous and fulfilling careers, and it was an enormous honour for her to make that contribution, often at a difficult time in a person’s career.
Audrey herself lived a meaningful, courageous and fulfilling life, and we know she touched many people in a profound way.
Many CEW members have personally experienced Audrey’s guidance and kindness and she will be sadly missed.
