Women’s progress into leadership has stalled in Australia, according to 2022 Senior Executive Census. At the current rate, it will take 100 years for women to make up at least 40% of all CEO positions on the ASX200.
The Census outlines important actions for business, investors, and government to help accelerate change. We are acting too. We are pleased to launch the CEW Census INSEAD Leadership Transition Scholarship, established in response to the CEW findings that women need more opportunities to transition from functional to operational leadership roles.
This scholarship is designed to elevate two women in mid-to-senior leadership positions in Australia to transition from functional roles to line management. They will have the opportunity to complete the Leadership Transition Course at INSEAD in France.
The scholarship will be open to women in mid-senior leadership roles (CEO or no more than 3 levels down from CEO) and will fund tuition and travel costs for two recipients to participate in the INSEAD Leadership Transition course in Fontainebleau, France in 2023.
